What started as a weekend pop-up by husband-and-wife duo Marcus and Dana Lee quickly grew into the neighborhood's favorite go-to spot. Word spread fast along the coast — and today, East coast wings serves thousands of happy guests every month, offering dine-in, takeout, catering, and online ordering.

Where It All Began
Marcus and Dana Lee start selling wings from their backyard in Coinjock, NC every Friday night. The first batch — classic buffalo — sells out in 20 minutes. Neighbors keep coming back for more.
First Brick-and-Mortar
East coast wings opens its first physical location on Waterlily Road. With 12 seats and two fryers, the team serves 200+ customers in the first week. Local buzz turns into regional recognition.
Award-Winning Sauces
Our signature "Carolina Gold" sauce wins first place at the NC Wing Fest in Raleigh. The recipe — a secret blend of mustard, honey, and smoked peppers — becomes our most-requested item.
Expansion & Catering Launch
We double our dining capacity to 60 seats and launch our catering service, serving corporate events, weddings, and community gatherings across the Outer Banks region.
Online Ordering Goes Live
